BURR OAK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office says a 34-year-old Sturgis man has died in a car crash early Friday morning.
Deputies were called to M-66 near Blackberry Lane in Burr Oak Township after getting an iPhone crash detection report.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene when deputies found the car had hit a tree.
Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
The man’s name has not been released.
