QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy’s boys basketball team romped to a 70-38 victory over Mendon on Tuesday night in the Coolest Gym in Michigan.
The Orioles started off well, outscoring Mendon 16-6. Another stellar defensive quarter Quincy only allowed six points in the second quarter as the Orioles went ahead at half, 30-12.
It was back and forth scoring in the third as Quincy outscored Mendon 13-12. Quincy had a huge fourth quarter as they put up 27 points on the scoreboard.
Brandon Miner led the Orioles with 20 points while Jimmy Maynard added 12 points and Braylon Estlow chipped in with 11 points.
The Orioles record is now 4-4.
Quincy also won the J.V. game 64-26 as the Orioles improved to 8-0. Carson Haylett led Quincy with 15 points and six rebounds. Christian Craven added nine points and four assists while Garrett Haylett had eight points and six rebounds and Bryson Estlow had seven points, three assists and three steals.
