Jo Anne Eileen Jolliff, of Coldwater, went into the loving arms of Jesus Wednesday February 5, 2025 at the Laurels of Coldwater. She was 92 and enjoyed a full life.
Following cremation, the family will host a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the Batavia Community Church, 247 N. Batavia Road, Coldwater, MI 49036. Interment will follow at Batavia Cemetery next to the church.
The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation of Union City.
Jo Anne was born December 11, 1932 to Johnathon Fout and Eileen Emerson in Hancock County, Ohio. She graduated from Magnetic Springs High School, where she met her high school sweetheart, Milton “Bud” Jolliff. Soon after, the two were married and moved to Michigan to start their lives together in 1951. He preceded her on June 19, 2019.
The couple lived in Gaylord, Michigan for several years before settling in Branch County in 1964.
Jo Anne enjoyed traveling the world with her husband Bud. She had a great love of flowers and plants. She was very honest, generous, and outgoing. It has been said that she never met a stranger. She was a long-time member of the Batavia Baptist Church, now known as Batavia Community Church. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Jo Anne is survived by her son, Gary (Linda) Jolliff; her daughter, Sandra (Bill) Blanchard; her six grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her son David Jolliff; her grandson Bryson Daniel Jacobs; her brothers Tom and Bob Claphan; and her sister Wanda Fout.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to assist with final expenses.
