COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – With bone chilling temperatures expected to move back in early next week, the Coach Eby Youth and Family Center will be operating a 24-hour emergency warming shelter for the second time this winter.
It will open at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday night and will remain open as long as necessary.
Anyone in need of warmth is welcome to stay at the shelter. Cots and blankets for sleeping and meals will be provided.
Officials at the Center say they are in need of volunteers and supplies.

National Weather Service forecasters are calling for lows around 10 above with wind chills as low as five below on Sunday night. Wind chill readings are expected to drop to near 10 degrees below zero on Monday and Tuesday nights.
