BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – No arrests have been made yet after the Michigan State Police say they seized nearly 200 pounds of processed marijuana and 130 marijuana plants at a home in the 100 block of West Nettleman Road in Bethel Township over the weekend.
Troopers initially went to the home to investigate a fraud complaint. During the investigation, they detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the residence.
They also saw several indicators of criminal activity related to manufacturing marijuana. They eventually found a marijuana grow in the basement. They then gained access to a pole structure where they found a large scale and elaborate marijuana grow operation.
Also seized at the residence were cash proceeds directly related to the sale of marijuana, three firearms and a large amount of illegal steroids.
