COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Burnside Senior Center in Coldwater will be closed to the public next week, as staff get ready to open up the entire facility again.
Branch County Commission on Aging Executive Director Amy Duff told the Branch County Board of Commissioners during their work session Tuesday renovation work is almost done.
The Burnside Center will be closed Monday through Friday so staff can move into the newly renovated south wing portion of the building. The entire building will reopen Monday, April 3 at 8:00 a.m.
The renovation project was done in two phases with work in the north wing, atrium and dining room wing wrapping up in late November.
The work has included the installation of new heating and cooling units as well as the updating of some of the electronics.
