COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Construction associated with the new Clemens Processing Plant is continuing.
Coldwater Interim City Manager Keith Baker reported to the City Council last week that the wastewater treatment plant construction is ongoing.
He said Hoffman Brothers will soon begin preparations for the final paving of Fiske Road and other miscellaneous work associated with the Clemens infrastructure project.
The Jonesville Substation construction continues with work expected to be finished in late April.
Meanwhile, a large electric transmission line is being installed on the east side of I-69 between Newton Road and State Street.
The line will interconnect the city’s Michigan Avenue and Jonesville Road electrical substations and serve the Clemens Food Group site along with future development in that area of the city.
