COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The COVID-19 pandemic has certainly put a damper on the holiday season this year.
Sadly, some children haven’t been able to see Santa this year to tell him what they wanted for Christmas.
But the Coldwater Recreation Department has come up with a last minute event that would be the next best thing.
Santa and his elves will be at Heritage Park Tuesday evening, December 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a free, socially distanced drive-through holiday event.
Kids can wave at Santa and get free candy canes from the safety of their vehicles.
Those attending can enter the Recreation Center parking lot from Western Avenue and exit on to Bishop.
Everyone is asked to remain in your cars as you drive through the parking lot.
