COLDWATER MI,(WTVB)- It’s been four days since the first round of strong storms rolled through the area knocking out power to thousands, today more then 1,700 Branch County Consumer Energy customers remain in the dark and the numbers aren’t much better in St. Joseph County where 1,100 are still without power. Consumers say there crews have been working around the clock to restore power to the more then 258,000 customers system wide due to an ice storm up north and the severe storms in the south. A Consumers Energy spokesman says they are hoping to have all customers back on line by this weekend.
