COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinal track teams welcomed Parma Western to Cardinal Field Thursday in their first dual meet of the season. The Lady Cardinals won 117.75-45.25, while the Panther boys prevailed 97-66.
Double winners for the Coldwater girls were Elli Foley in the shot put and discus and Ella Grabowski in the long jump and 400 meters. Also winning for the Cardinals: Ella Thompson in the 100 meters, Miyah Moore in the 200 meters, Grace Huff in the 800 meters, Gwen Eby in the 1600 meters, Isabella Angevine in the 3200 meters, Elli Anderson in the high jump, and Ava Longstreet in the pole vault. Coldwater also swept to victory in all four relay races.
Winners for the Cardinal boys were Evan Lewis in the 100 meters, Claudel Wischmeyer in the 400 meters, Bennett McDonald in the 110 meter high hurdles, Jackson Reilly in the discus, and Dayne Knapp in the long jump.
Coldwater will host Pennfield next Tuesday.
