BRONSON, MI (WTVB)- A Bronson man is locked up in the Branch County Jail today following an investigation by the Branch County Sheriffs Department. The investigation revealed details too graphic for air.
41 year old Joseph Allen Blowers is charged with:
6 counts Criminal Sexual Conduct First Degree
1 count Criminal Sexual Conduct Third Degree
1 count Domestic Violence – Second Offence Notice
Due to previous felony convictions in Branch and Hillsdale counties Blowers is also charged as a habitual offender.
Blowers is facing a life sentence if convicted.
He remains in the Branch County Jail on a $100,000 bond and has a probable cause hearing set for May, 15th at 1:30 p.m. and a Preliminary Exam on May 21st at 9a.m.
Blowers was also ordered not to have contact the victim and not to have unsupervised contact with any minor children.
