QUINCY, MI (WTVB)- Auto racing is synonymous with Memorial Day weekend, with the Indy 500 Indy car race and the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR race in Charlotte NC. There will also be big time racing at the Butler Motor Speedway in Quincy on Saturday night.
This weekend’s event features the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Models competing for a $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start purse, joined by Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Four-Cylinders in a special format. The top 14 qualifiers will lock into the A-Main, with positions 15 and beyond running a Last Chance Qualifier, ensuring fierce competition and no shortage of action. Pit gates open at 3:00 p.m., grandstand gates at 4:00 p.m., with hot laps at 6:00 PM and racing kicking off at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, $10 for kids 6-12, and free for children 5 and under, with pit passes available for $35.
