JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – A bomb threat Tuesday night at the Walmart in Jackson forced the store to be evacuated.
The Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety says just before 7:00 p.m. an employee reported receiving a phone call from an unknown male claiming an explosive device had been planted inside the store.
Authorities were able to quickly evacuate the building and Michigan State Police deployed K-9 units to search the premises. No suspicious devices were found at the time. The investigation is ongoing.
