(KALAMAZOO) – Western Michigan University has picked a new head football coach. Former Bronco quarterback Tim Lester will to take over for P.J. Fleck who left WMU last week after the taking the head coaching job at the University of Minnesota. Fleck will be a tough act to follow. The Broncos won the MAC title this past season and earned a trip to the Cotton Bowl. Lester set numerous records when he quarterbacked the Broncos in the late 90’s. Lester has been a head coach in NCAA Division Two and Three. He was also an assistant coach at Syracuse and Purdue. Lester will be introduced Saturday at a news conference as well as during the WMU basketball and hockey games.
