Traffic stop leads to meth charges against Coldwater woman

COLDWATERM MI ( WTVB) – A  57-year-old Coldwater woman is facing meth charges following a traffic stop Saturday night.

At approximately 11:30 p.m.  Saturday,  Branch County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling along W. Garfield Avenue near Treat Avenue for operating without valid insurance.

During the course of the investigation, deputies discovered methamphetamine both on the driver’s person and within the vehicle.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident and lodged at the Branch County Jail.  She is currently being held pending formal arraignment in Branch County District Court.
