BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The 2025 girls volleyball season wrapped up Saturday, as Battle Creek’s Kellogg Arena hosted the MHSAA Finals. The final two teams left from the southwest corner of the state came up short in their championship matches.
The day started with the Division 4 Final, where Mendon lost in straight sets to Fowler, 30-28, 25-19, 25-22. The Eagles won their first championship in program history, while the Hornets were vying for their first title since 2019.
In the final match of the afternoon, the Division 3 Final, Kalamazoo Christian was unable to claim their first championship in three years, as Kingsley prevailed in four sets, 22-25, 26-24, 25-15, 25-12.
In between, Farmington Hills Mercy won the Division 1 title by beating Bloomfield Hills 25-18, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20. And in Division 2, it was Detroit Country Day over Flat Rock 25-18, 25-19, 25-12.
