COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man is facing felony charges following a domestic altercation Monday night.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of a domestic assault Monday evening in the 800 block of Williams Drive in Coldwater.
Deputies conducted an on-scene investigation, resulting in the arrest of an adult male suspect, identified as Muhammad Mumin.
Mumin was transported and lodged at the Branch County Jail and was arraigned in Branch County District Court Tuesday on one Felony Count of Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm Less Than Murder.
Mumin entered a plea of not guilty and had his bond set at $60,000 cash or surety.
The case remains under investigation. No further details are being released at this time.
