COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Michigan motorists are seeing continued relief at the pump this week as the statewide average price for regular unleaded gasoline dropped a significant 14 cents from a week ago, reaching an average of $2.82 per gallon today.
This marks the second consecutive week of decline, with prices now at their lowest since October.
The current average price is 33 cents less than a month ago and 13 cents lower than this time last year.
There is even better news for Motorists in Branch County where the average price of $2.71 per gallon is even lower than the state average.
According to Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson for AAA-says prices may continue to drop due to declining demand and increasing gasoline inventories.
