BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The City of Bronson has officially lifted the “Run Water Advisory” for all municipal water customers, effective immediately.
Residents and business owners may now discontinue running the continuous stream of water previously recommended to prevent frozen service lines.
The advisory, which was originally issued January 22 and extended until February 2 due to a prolonged stretch of extreme cold, is being rescinded as local temperatures have improved and the risk of service line freezing has subsided.
City Manager Brandon Mersman said “We want to thank our residents for their cooperation and patience during this recent cold spell, with temperatures now stabilizing, the immediate threat to water service lines has subsided.”
For any questions regarding billing adjustments or water service, please contact the City Office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at (517)369-7334.
