BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In Friday night high school boys basketball action, Big 8 Conference co-leader Springport defeated Bronson 61-45 on the Vikings’ Hall of Fame night. Bronson fell to 8-10 overall, 5-5 in the Big 8, and will host cross-county rival Quincy Tuesday night. The Orioles took care of business against Maple Valley with a 78-61 victory.
Union City improved to 5-12 overall and 4-6 in the Big 8 as they won at Reading 65-57. The Chargers will host Stockbridge on Tuesday.
Tekonsha fell to 1-13 overall, 0-9 in the SCAA East, with an 89-26 loss to Hillsdale Academy. The Indians will visit Waldron on Monday.
