Ronald E. “Ron” Moore, 82, of Coldwater passed away March 2, 2026 at The Laurels of Coldwater.
Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Ronald was born July 30, 1943 to Albert and Velma (Porter) Moore in Auburn, IN. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His time in the service was a source of great pride, and he carried that sense of dedication and patriotism throughout his life.
Following his military service, Ronald built a strong work ethic as a truck driver and later worked for Darling International until his retirement in 2007.
Ron was a devoted member of the Moose, where he enjoyed camaraderie and fellowship with friends. In his spare time, he loved working on tractors and cars. An avid outdoorsman, Ron found great joy in hunting, fishing, and camping in his camper in Ohio. Whether in the woods, by the water, or around a campfire, he was happiest surrounded by nature. Above all, Ron treasured the time he spent with his friends and family.
Ronald is survived by his children Lisa Denudt of Coldwater, Richard Moore of Quincy, Loretta Moore of Quincy, Roger Moore of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren Nichole (Chay) Mason, Tyler Denudt, Erica Juaraz, Katrina (Derek) Smith, Cody (Cassandra) Benedict, Brooks (Dylan) Hurd, Mackenzie Miller; and his 7 great grandchildren.
Ron was preceded in death by his brother Robert Moore, and his former spouses Iona Kelley, and Judith Bender.
