Helen E. Hart, 81, of Girard Township passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at her home under hospice care.
In keeping with her wishes, Helen will be cremated and no public services will be held. Private interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Girard Township.
The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Helen was born on November 22, 1944 to Sylvester and Arleen (Howard) Frederick in Coldwater Michigan. She graduated from Harper Creek High School with the Class of 1962. December 1, 1968 she married Glen Hart in Quincy. Together they shared 58 wonderful years.
Helen worked as a school bus driver for Coldwater Community Schools for 30 years, retiring in 2023. She enjoyed everything horses, driving bus, and spending time with her family.
Surviving Helen are her husband, Glen Hart of Girard; her children, Robin Snyder of Ann Arbor, Kevin (Ronda) Krieg of Coldwater; grandchildren, Alexis Snyder of Ann Arbor, Kelcee Krieg of Coldwater; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Kip) Albright of Coldwater and Betty Ann Frederick of Laurel, MD.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Vivian Averett; and her brothers, Robert, Gaylord, Doug and Fred Frederick.
