COLDWATER, MI (WTVB0 – The case of a Coldwater man who is charged with multiple felonies for allegedly exchanging nearly 20,000 messages and sexually explicit photos online through Facebook with a then 14-year-old girl has been bound over to Branch County Circuit Court.
21-year old Tyler Caldwell has been charged with four counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct as well as a count of promoting and possession of child sexually abusive material.
He is scheduled to appear in Circuit Court for a pre-trial conference August 2, 2018. Caldwell remains lodged in the Branch County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Caldwell was arrested last month following a Coldwater Police Department investigation which started after the girl’s mother discovered the alleged relationship in April and obtained a personal protection order against him.
