WATERBURY, CT (WTVB) – Coldwater’s Austin Santure was a member of a national championship baseball team over the weekend. He was picked up by the Michigan Bulls after the Bulls won the AABC Mickey Mantle North Central title in Coldwater. The Bulls went on to win the national tournament in Waterbury, Connecticut. The Bulls wrapped up the title on Sunday with a 19-9 victory over the Overland Black Sox from Waterbury. The Michigan Bulls were made up primarily of players from the western suburbs of Detroit. Santure is a pitcher and infielder. He will be a junior this fall at Coldwater High School.
