COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Twelve teams took part in Thursday’s Oriole Classic golf tournament hosted by Quincy at the Coldwater Golf Course, including Union City and a split Quincy squad. The Quincy Orange team placed third with a team score of 369, Union City was seventh with a 417, and the Quincy Black team came in ninth with a 434. Centreville and Springport both shot a 357 to share the tournament title.
For Quincy Orange, Braylon Estlow’s 18-hole round of 86 was good for fourth individually. Jax Sergent and Carson Craven both shot a 90, Codin Ayerdi fired a 103, and Bo Tissue carded a 105.
For Union City, Blayne Crance was eighth with his round of 88. Gabe Mowry shot a 97, Luke Arlt a 110, Zoey Fruin a 122, and Ryen Dibert a 134.
For Quincy Black, Kalin Scheidler carded a 103, Gavin Bearden shot a 108, Colton Walters fired a 111, and Daniel Burritt shot a 112.
Quincy will take part in the Pennfield Invitational on Saturday. Union City returns to action next Tuesday at the final Big 8 jamboree of the season hosted by Quincy.
