QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – A planned burn that got out of control because of dry conditions caused both the Quincy and Coldwater Fire Departments to be called out this morning.
The grass fire on North Fremont Road initially threatened a nearby building, but firefighters who first arrived on the scene were able to water down the area.
The fire was eventually put out around 11:15 a.m. Monday. Firemen stayed around longer to put out fire hot spots.
