QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Grand Re-opening on Saturday, July 21, 2018 with the new owners of the Swallows Nest Book Store in downtown Quincy.
The new owners are Jay and Samantha LaFountain. They have lived in Branch County for nine years. The LaFountains have six children who have been home schooled.
They hope to do the previous owners proud as they will continue to run the store with the same sense of community that they had built up there over the years.
The LaFountains say the credit system still works the same and they will still honor any outstanding gift cards. New books will be ordered upon request.
And maybe, most importantly, they will still have coffee at the front of the store every day.
The Swallow’s Nest will be closed for a week while they make minor changes inside the store.
There will be an open house from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. July 21, with a ribbon cutting ceremony that morning at 11:00 a.m..
