BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – A Homer man will be making the Michigan Department of Corrections his home for at least the next 14 years.
42-year-old William Wolter was given a prison sentence in Calhoun County on Monday of 14 to 22 ½ years after he entered no contest pleas to a pair of third degree sexual assault charges.
The crimes involved two girls ages 12 and 15.
Wolter also got a concurrent 10 to 15 year sentence for assault less than murder.
He also entered a no contest plea to that charge which was filed after he was accused of trying to run over a woman with his truck in 2014.
