COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater and Coldwater Township are conducting a planned maintenance upgrade on their tornado siren networks today, resulting in short, 15-second activation bursts throughout the day.
Officials advise that residents do not need to call emergency services during this process, as staff will be on-site to ensure functionality.
The upgrade to the eight total sirens across the city and township aims to streamline the activation system at Branch County Central Dispatch for more rapid and reliable performance.
Routine, monthly testing of the system will continue as normal, with monitoring support from the Branch County Amateur Radio Club
