In baseball, Coldwater is hosting a Division 2 District at Lowe Field, Coverage of the Cardinals’ game against Harper Creek on WTVB begins Saturday at 9:45 a.m. If Coldwater wins, we’ll have coverage of the District Final Saturday afternoon against either Marshall or Pennfield.
At the Division 3 Centerville District, Union City faces the host Bulldogs at around noon; the winner faces either the Climax-Scotts/St. Philip co-op team or Constantine in the District Final.
At the Division 3 Hanover-Horton District, it’s Quincy against Jonesville at around noon; the winner will play either Homer or Hanover-Horton in the District Final.

At the Division 3 Schoolcraft District, it’s Bronson vs. Centreville at 10 a.m., followed by Union City against Constantine, with the winners playing for the District championship.
At the Division 3 Homer District, Quincy faces Jonesville at 10 a.m., with the winner playing against either Hillsdale or Homer in the District title game.
TRACK & FIELD
A total of twenty individual athletes and five relay teams from Branch County are competing in the MHSAA Lower Peninsula Track and Field Finals today in the greater Grand Rapids area. Coldwater’s athletes are at the Division 2 Lower Peninsula Finals at Hamilton, while athletes from Bronson, Quincy, and Union City will be at the Division 3 Lower Peninsula Finals at Kent City.
