Yuel “Duke” Case, 74, of Marshall, Michigan passed away Friday, June 20, 2026 at his home under hospice care.
In keeping with Duke’s wishes, he will be cremated and no public service will be held.
The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Duke was born September 3, 1951 to Isaac and Alkie (Akers) Case in Harold, Kentucky. He graduated from Homer High School with the Class of 1970.
October 3, 1981 he married Ann Rosenbrook in Marshall. She preceded him in death January 6, 2023.
Duke worked at Bostik in Marshall until 2010. He enjoyed collecting antiques, doing woodworking, and gardening.
Surviving Duke are his daughters, Sam (Jamie) Troyer of Marshall, Sarah (Phil) Smith of Marshall, Kris (Denny) LaPoint of Olivet, Suzie (Jon) Hall of Battle Creek, his grandson, Jack Troyer and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sisters, Jewell Burkwalt, Wallean (Danny) Burkwalt, and Ann Tackett, all of Homer; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Ann, Duke was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Mathias Case; and his granddaughter, Erikka Murphy.
