BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Swift Pumpkins and Produce in Bronson, is teaming up with a local chef to host a “farm fresh” benefit dinner this Sunday, to help combat food insecurity in Branch County.
The fundraiser will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m on the farm, featuring a menu crafted entirely from locally grown and sourced foods.
Tickets for the farm driven dining experience are priced at $65 per person, with every penny of the proceeds directly benefiting the Bronson Food Pantry to help sustain its monthly operations.
The funds raised from the event will facilitate the expansion of the Bronson Food pantry and stock the Viking Care Closet at Bronson High School, ensuring children have access to free food and essential hygiene items after school hours.
For the past twelve years the Swifts have have supported the Southwest Michigan Food Bank with dozens of truckloads of produce. Donating over 270,000 pounds of fresh produce each year.
