COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The official 2026 Branch County Fair King and Queen Court has been announced, setting the stage for the much anticipated 96th annual fair that will run from August 9-15.
Following a competitive summer application process that closed in June, this year’s court represents outstanding local youth recognized for their exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and community involvement.
This years court includes Abbigal Ferry, Laurisa Johns and Veronica Bir for queen. King candidates include Garrett Gruner,
Adam Franks and Austin Preston.
The Crowning of the 2026 Fair King & Queen takes place at the Cabin Pavilion on Sunday, August 9, at 7:00 p.m.
The court will participate in several events throughout the week, including the annual downtown parade, 4-H youth livestock shows, and grandstand entertainment.
