COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – An employee of the downtown Coldwater PS Food Mart accused of embezzlement was booked at the Branch County Jail Wednesday.
Susan Marie Jones turned herself in at the jail yesterday morning. The 39-year old Jackson woman was booked on a preliminary charge of embezzling at least $200 but under $1000. A warrant alleges that while on the job April 18, 2018, Jones stole Michigan Lottery tickets from the store.
Jones was released Wednesday on a $250 bond. She’s scheduled to be formally charged in the case on June 25, 2018, the date set for her arraignment in Branch County District Court.
