BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police are investigating a two vehicle injury accident that occurred late Tuesday afternoon on M-86 west of Coldwater in Batavia Township. The collision just east of Tripp Road between a Ford Ranger pick-up and a Chevy Equinox SUV was reported to Branch County Central Dispatch shortly before 6:00 p.m.
State Police say a 36-year old woman was taken by Life Care Ambulance to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital following the collision as a precaution to be checked out after complaining of rib and neck pain. The not yet completed accident report listed the two drivers as Sherwood residents, both males, one being 35-years old and the other a 17-year old.
The Bronson Fire Department was called to the scene and the Branch County Sheriff’s Department directed traffic around the crash location for almost one hour.
No names or other information about the collision were available from the State Police.
