COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County United Way is set to host its annual Color Run 5K on Saturday at Heritage Park.
Starting at 8:30 a.m., the annual, untimed fun run welcomes participants of all ages—including runners, walkers, and families with strollers—to experience a route packed with color stations.
Volunteers armed with squeeze bottles will douse participants in brightly dyed cornstarch as they navigate the course.
Runners traditionally wear plain white shirts and cross the finish line covered in a kaleidoscopic masterpiece.

Beyond the fun, the event serves as a major community fundraiser to support the organization’s regional health, education, and financial stability initiatives. Cranson says they welcome anyone to participate
Proceeds generated from registration fees and local corporate sponsorships, including backing from the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU), directly fuel the Branch County United Way’s annual campaign that supports over two dozen critical partner agencies across the county, providing essential community services ranging from youth programs to free health clinics.
