PLAINWELL, MI (WTVB) – After the junior varsity match was canceled due to transportation issues, the Coldwater High School boys varsity soccer team was only able to play less than 20 minutes of their match at Plainwell Tuesday before thunder and lightening forced the cancelation of that also.
There was a half hour delay before the game even started due to the severe weather, then several other delays in the game before it was called, tied 0-0.
Due to both team’s schedules the rest of the season, it’s unlikely there will be a make-up date.
The Cardinals, ranked 11th in this week’s Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association Division Two poll will travel to eighth ranked Edwardsburg Thursday.
