COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Historic District Commission approved an amended request for a blade sign that would be installed 12 feet above the sidewalk at 69 West Chicago on Wednesday evening.
David Ratliff had originally requested a three by six wall sign for the Good Vibez Jiu-Jitsu, boxing and fitness business at that location last November.
But Ratliffe later submitted a request for a different sign that would provide better visibility for the business.
The original sign was approved with a condition that it fit within the green box frame designated for signs above the door and windows.
The protruding sign approved on Wednesday night also has to be attached to the backer board just like the original sign.
In other business, the Commission also approved another request for a blade sign from Caffe Di Caro at 61 West Chicago.
