QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The 2026 racing season at Butler Motor Speedway came to an unexpected and damp conclusion, mirroring the exact way it began.
Mother Nature bookended the racing season by bringing heavy rain that forced the cancellation of the Season Championship night, with track officials confirming that no make-up date will be scheduled.
Just as inclement weather washed out the very first scheduled night of the 2026 season back in May, weekend rain officially brought the competitive racing year to a close.
While the final track battles could not take place on the dirt, the cancellation solidified the point standings and allowed the track to officially crown its 2026 Butler Motor Speedway Track Champions.
Taking home top honors for the season were:
- Dan McCarron – Pell’s Tire Service Sprint Car Champ
- Corey Bevard -MAGA Life UMP Modified Champ
- Jordon Hadley –Elite General Contracting Street Stock
- Chad Minnix – Oriole Automotive Four Cylinder Champ
