UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The first Big 8 Conference corss country jamboree of the season eas hosted by Union City Tuesday afternoon. Quincy won the boys race with 64 points, 17 ahead of runner-up Concord. Bronson was third with 89 points, and Union City was fourth with 99 points. In the girls race, Concord won with 32 points, while Quincy was second with 52 points. Bronson and Union City did not have team scores.
For the Oriole boys, Hunter Walker was second, Carter Feltner sixth, Nathan Dunn 10th, Coy Wood 20th, and Nolan King 26th. The Vikings saw Brayton Cosby finish fifth, with Denver Siler 13th, Adam Franks 15th, Rylan Fincham 24th, and Jack Ganton 32nd. For the Chargers, Cullen Decker was third, Noah June eighth, Luke McKown 16th, Luke Arlt 33rd, and Jack Dibert 39th.
For Quincy’s girls, Kendyl Musielewicz was sixth, Bailey Porter eighth, Lauren Tappenden ninth, Victoria Francis 30th, and Cali Richards 34th. Bronson’s Alonna Goodsell was fourth, followed by Miriam Sanchez in seventh, Piper Grigsby 11th, and Camilla Albarran 32nd. For Union City, Parker Williams was 14th, Allison Gautsche 15th, Carly Smith 22nd, and Jasreman Kaur 23rd.

On Saturday, Quincy will run at the Pittsford Invitational, while Bronson will be at Vicksburg’s Dave Smith Invitational. Both will join Union City next Tuesday at Springport for the second Big 8 jamboree.
