COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Drivers in Coldwater should plan for some short temporary delays later this afternoon as the Coldwater High School Homecoming Parade takes to the streets.
The parade is scheduled to kick off at 5:00 p.m. and will travel a downtown stretch of West Chicago Street, running from North Hudson Street to North Fremont Street.
According to an advisory from the City of Coldwater, streets along the designated route will be temporarily blocked off to accommodate the floats and participants.
As a result, traffic in the immediate area is expected to be slow for a short time.
City officials are advising to plan travel routes accordingly, seek alternate paths if possible, and allow extra travel time if they must pass through the downtown area
