DEWITT, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater’s cross country teams took to the campus of DeWitt High School Saturday for the DeWitt Invitational. The Cardinals ran in the Division 1 and 2 races; the boys finished 13th with 356 points, and the girls were 14th with 357 points.
For the Cardinal boys, Luke Aerts was 46th, Sebastian Hernandez 48th, Drew Vanderpuyl, 78th, Henry Koyl 91st, and Benjamin Travelbee 93rd. For the Lady Cards, Ellie Aughenbaugh finished 47th, with Mya McBride 53rd, Ellerie Bucklin 73rd, Ella Thompson 88th, and Paula Mancera 96th.

Coldwater will run at the Hudson Booster Invitational this coming Saturday.
OTSEGO, MI – Bronson, Quincy, and Union City were part of the large field at the 25th Annual Otsego Bulldog Invitational Saturday. All three teams ran in the combined Division 3 and 4 races, with the team results separated by division. Quincy was third among Division 3 boys teams with 108 points, while Bronson was fifth with 140 points and Union City seventh with 172 points. Among Division 3 girls teams, Bronson was third with 81 points, and Quincy was fourth with 97 points; Union City did not have enough runners for a team score.
Individually among the boys teams, Quincy’s Hunter Walker was sixth, Carter Feltner 18th, Nathan Dunn 36th, Coy Wood 43rd, and Nolan King 57th. Bronson’s Brayton Cosby finished ninth, with Adam Franks 27th, Denver Siler 45th, Jack Ganton 61st, and Rylan Finsham 66th. Union City’s Cullen Decker was 12th, Noah June 17th, Luke McCown 59th, Anthony Mahley 86th, and Jack Dibert 103.
Among the girls teams, Bronson’s Alonna Goodsell was sixth, Miriam Sanchez seventh, Piper Grigsby 14th, Adelynn Cosby 46th, and Camila Albarran 72nd. Quincy’s Kendyl Musielewicz finished ninth, with Lauren Tappenden 16th, Bailey Porter 22nd, Cali Richards 58th, and Clare Robertson 60th. For Union City, Alison Gautsche was 27th, Jasreman Kaur 36th, and Carly Smith 45th.

The Vikings, Orioles, and Chargers will join the Cardinals at this Saturday’s Hudson Booster Invitational. Before that, they will run at the third Big 8 jamboree of the season hosted by Bronson.
