COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Drivers around Michigan are paying 22-cents less per gallon to fill their gas tanks than last week.
Triple-A Michigan says the statewide average is at $4.45 , that’s still $1.34 more than a year ago.
In Branch County the average is running at $4.49, while in Hillsdale county the average pump price for regular unleaded is at $4.19 while in St Joseph County it’s 4.27.
Across the state line in Indiana gas is running around a dollar per gallon cheaper with a statewide average of $3.74 but the price is much lower in Steuben County with a number of stations in the Angola area selling regular unleaded at $3.41 per gallon which is among the lowest pump prices in the entire nation.
The national average this morning is at $4.36 per gallon.
Oil prices are also trending lower today dipping below $90 per barrel.
