Allan was born May 3, 1948 in Coldwater, Michigan, to John K. Rifenburgh and Norma J. (Rigg) Rifenburgh. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, a service he held close to his heart.
June 14, 2008, Allan married Tammy I. (Kennedy), who remained his loving wife. Throughout his working years, Allan spent many years in shipping and receiving at Kirsch and also worked for a time as a truck driver for Penguin.
Outside of work, Allan enjoyed hunting and ice fishing, but one of his best-known talents was his love of singing. He shared that passion as a member of the bands Jynx and Mirage, bringing his voice and personality to the music he loved.
Allan also had a deep passion for motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidsons, along with gardening and trees.
Allan had a personality that was hard to forget. Those who knew him knew he liked to dress to impress and had a reputation for always being fashionably late. His unique style, love of music, and many interests made him someone who left a lasting impression on the people around him.
