Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
He was born November 27, 1967 to Oscar and Mary (Smith) Chantrenne in Battle Creek, MI.
Pat spent his working career as an electrical technician and mechanic, where his natural ability to understand, repair, and fix just about anything was second to none. He was talented with his hands and took great pride in his work, earning the respect of those who knew and worked alongside him.
Music was another important part of Pat’s life. A gifted drummer, he played with many bands over the years and enjoyed the friendships and memories that came along with making music. He also had a love for motorcycles and appreciated the freedom of being out on the road.
Perhaps few things outside of his family meant as much to Pat as wrestling. The sport was truly a pillar and foundation in his life, and his dedication to it reached far beyond the mat. Pat was instrumental in the wrestling community at every level, from Bronson youth wrestling to Bronson High School wrestling, and he remained deeply involved throughout his own children’s wrestling careers.
Whether coaching, encouraging, teaching, or simply being there in support, Pat gave generously of his time and knowledge to a sport and community he cared for deeply. His influence will continue through the many young wrestlers and families whose lives he touched along the way.
Above all else, Pat was a family man. Nothing brought him greater pride or happiness than the people he loved, and he especially treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren. His family was at the center of his life, and the memories they created together will remain a lasting reflection of the love he had for them.
Pat will be remembered for his remarkable ability to fix nearly anything, his love of music and motorcycles, his unwavering devotion to wrestling, and most of all, for the love and dedication he showed to his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Pat leaves behind his sons Dustin (Chrissen) Johnson of Bronson, Zac (Leah) Chantrenne of Stanley, NC; his father Oscar Chantrenne of Battle Creek; his brothers Jason (Michelle) Chantrenne, Aaron Chantrenne both of Battle Creek, Josh (Amie) Chantrenne of Mesa, AZ; his grandchildren Slate, Belle, Bailey; and his many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Chantrenne and his son Skyler Riker.
