COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Voter turnout for Tuesday’s off year election in Branch County was pretty much as expected with the small number of races and ballot questions.
There was a 23 percent turnout of registered voters in the City of Coldwater while 20 percent of eligible voters cast ballots in the Coldwater School District on the nearly $30 million millage and bonding proposal.
There was an 18 percent turnout in Algansee Township for the fire millage question while the Quincy Township fire and police millage requests got 41 percent of registered voters to the ballot box.
The Tekonsha school bonding proposal drew a 22 percent voter turnout.
