DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Tigers continue their 11-game homestand by opening a series against the Seattle Mariners tonight. Detroit sends Matthew Boyd to the mound while Seattle counters with Yusei Kikuchiin the opener.
The Tigers are in last place in the Central Division with a 35-and-80 record.
Detroit opens the 2020 season on the road against the Cleveland Indians March 26. MLB announced next year’s regular season schedule for all teams yesterday.
Detroit’s home opener is set for March 30 as the Kansas City Royals visit Comerica Park. The Tigers will play the Colorado Rockies, San Francisco Giants, Arizona Diamondbacks, LA Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates in interleague matchups.
