BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – In high school bowling, the Coldwater girls finished second while the boys were fifth out of 17 teams on Sunday in the annual Battle of the Baker Tournament at M-66 Bowl in Battle Creek. The girls qualified second for match play with a 12 game Baker total of 2,016. In the Finals they fell to Division One Dakota High School in a close two game set.
The boys qualified fifth for match play with a 12 baker game total of 2,063. They lost to eventual runner up Dakota in two games.
The Bronson boys purple team won the Division Two title as they defeated Saint Charles in the championship match two games to one. They were one of two Bronson boys team to compete in the tourney.
The Bronson girls finished fourth in the Baker portion of the tournament but dropped their opening match in bracket play.
