HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – A second Republican candidate has thrown their hat into the ring for the 58th District State House seat in next year’s election.
The Hillsdale Daily News reports Hillsdale attorney Andrew Fink announced his intentions to run in the August 2020 Primary during the Hillsdale County Republican Party meeting last Thursday.
The only other announced Republican candidate so far is Hillsdale Mayor Adam Stockford.
There have been no candidacy announcements from any Democrats.
Current State Representative Eric Leutheuser is term limited and has to leave the State House at the end of 2020.
The 58th State House District covers Branch and Hillsdale Counties.
