JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Deputies believe an Osseo man had an apparent medical emergency before crashing into a tree on Thursday afternoon.
They said 42-year-old Steven Dean Spence was on Osseo Road near Beecher Road when the incident happened just after 4:00 p.m..
Spence crossed the road before crashing into the tree. Deputies say he was wearing his seat belt.
Spence was taken to Hillsdale Health Center for treatment of his injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
